CHICKEN AND RICE                            

 

1 CUP OF RICE

1 TEASPOON SALT

1 TEASPOON PEPPER

1/2 TEASPOON OREGANO

1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION

1 CUT UP CHICKEN ( YOU COULD USE BONELESS OR SKINLESS CHICKEN)

1 CAN TOMATO SOUP

1 CAN ONION SOUP

2 CANS OF WATER (MOM WOULD USE THE CAN FROM THE SOUPS TO MEASURE THE AMOUNT OF WATER)

 

Place rice in a casserole dish.  Season chicken with salt, pepper, and oregano and then place on top of rice.

Bring to a boil the tomato and onion soups, and the water.  Pour over

chicken and rice.  Cover with foil and let cook for about 1 hour or until chicken is done.
